The University has a wide range of venues that are used for festivals, filming locations and events throughout the year.

Bristo Square's beautiful refurbishment has transformed it to a unique exterior location at the heart of Edinburgh

George Square Gardens offer an attractive location for filming and a unique venue for open-air performance in the centre of the city.

Located on the South side of the square, this is one of the university’s main lecture theatres. It has a large stage and an audience capacity of over 400.

The newly restored McEwan Hall is the magnificent home of the University graduation ceremonies and flagship lectures. It is the perfect place to put on an unforgettable event.

The University of Edinburgh Medical Faculty offers some exciting spaces for site specific theatre and filming.

Popular for film crews and the perfect location for unique outdoor events such as the Festivals Office's Film In The Old College Quad.

Regarded as one of Scotland’s finest public rooms, this grand room plays host to many prestigious concerts, exhibitions, launches and receptions.

This concert hall is ideal for musical and theatrical performances or recitals and offers tiered seating for over 200 people.

The oldest purpose-built concert hall in Scotland is a hidden gem that has recently undergone an outstanding refurbishment.

New College, situated on the Mound, provides several unique indoor spaces including Rainy Hall and the library as well as the outside quad.

The University has such a vast campus therefore we have a lot of other locations that are not detailed here.
