Journalist Peter Pomerantsev joined Luke March from the Princess Dashkova Russian Centre to lead a debate on the crisis in Ukraine, focusing on the changing relationship between Europe and Russia. In association with the Global Justice Academy, civil rights activist Reverend Jesse Jackson spoke about his life and career campaigning for black rights and human understanding. Author Anthony Downey, in an event in association with the Centre for Cultural Relations, discussed his book Art and Politics Now and his global search for ambitious, daring and socially engaged artworks.
